Qualified individuals will be responsible for a manufacturing skills training program delivered in a classroom setting. In addition, customized training may be delivered on site with employers to meet their needs.
This is a part-time (28 hours per week) adjunct faculty position training courses to prepare students for entry level manufacturing skills needed to gain employment in middle-skilled (high-pay high-demand) manufacturing positions.
Given the nature of these courses, it is necessary to provide training on-site. Position requires manufacturing experience with expertise in areas such as workplace safety, lean manufacturing, fabrication techniques, leadership, quality assurance and industrial maintenance.
Ideal candidates will possess 10 -15 years of manufacturing experience, be comfortable teaching 10-15 students and act as coach and mentor to the students.
