Ashley received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Southern Maine while working as a work study student in the Student Accounts Office for 4 years.  Once she graduated, she was hired as a full time employee and continued working in the Student Accounts Office for an additional 5 years.  Prior to coming to NTI, Ashley also worked at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid.  Ashley is extremely excited to bring her knowledge and education to NTI, and help assist students in following their career paths.

Elizabeth joined our Financial Aid team during the winter of 2017. She came to us with 3 years of experience which she obtained from working as a Financial Aid Counselor at Independence University. Prior to financial aid, Elizabeth was a CNA for 5 years working at Maine Medical Center, LDS Hospital, as well as home care. She is currently studying Business Administration at Southern Maine Community College. Elizabeth is eager to share her passion for education and help students get themselves into a new career.

Megan McKay

Megan is the newest member of the Financial Aid team; she joined in September 2019.  Before joining our team, she worked in higher education at the University of Maine in the Bursar’s office.  Megan has spent a majority of her working career in the Customer Service field.  For 10 years, she worked at Marden’s in Brewer as a front-end manager and office assistant.  After that, she worked for a number of years at Emera Maine (formerly Bangor Hydro Electric Company).  She is excited to work one-on-one with students and help them get started on a great path to their new career.  Her favorite saying is, “Life is tough, but so are you”.
