All Smiles at Our Bangor Graduation

On December 6, Northeast Technical Institute hosted its 2017 Fall Graduation Ceremony at Spectacular Events to celebrate the recent accomplishments of our Bangor students.

With close to 150 graduates, family, and friends in attendance, the ceremonies were opened by Bangor campuses newest members, Nicole Kelley, the campus manager and David Kerr, the Student Services and Career Services Advisor. The keynote address was delivered by Lori Dwyer, Esq., CEO of Penobscot Community Health Care, and she reminded the students to never give up, keep trying, and understand that a perceived failure is just another lesson towards ultimate success. The largest eye-opener, however, is when the crowd heard of all the different career paths she had taken to get where she is today, including a ski bum. It was a great message for the students to know that there are many paths to success.

Following the keynote, the school took time to honor a few students who went above and beyond while in class, then the ceremonial crossing of the stage for all the grads in attendance.  Afterwards, they were all treated to cupcakes and cake with our beautiful blue and white colors. Overall, the event turned into one of the best graduations ceremonies in recent memory.

Most importantly, congratulations to all our graduates, and best of luck with your new careers.
